Join The Jewish Library of Baltimore and award-winning children’s book author Nancy Churnin with your children and/or grandchildren (grades 2 and up) to learn about the remarkable journey of Henrietta Szold, a Baltimore native who dedicated her life to serving others, truly committing herself to tikkun olam. Churnin will delve into her book A Queen to the Rescue: The Story of Henrietta Szold, Founder of Hadassah.

It is not necessary to have read the book to enjoy the program, but The Jewish Library of Baltimore does have many copies of the book in both hardcover and e-book formats that you can find in our Library Catalog.

Upon registration, you will be sent a Zoom link for the event.
