The Jewish Library of Baltimore’s Summer Reading 2026

We are very proud to present our 10th annual Summer Reading Program, kicking off on June 1 and running through August 27.

Children must sign up and pick up books and bookmarks no later than August 20.

We welcome readers from ages 1 to 16 to embark on a journey of literary discovery. With so many great books available at our library, your child can explore captivating stories, set out on thrilling adventures and let their imagination soar to new heights.

Participation Guidelines

1. Register your child(ren) online. If you are registering more than 4 children, you must fill out a 2nd form. More than 8, you must fill out a 3rd.

2. The children should each read five (or more) books on their age and reading level from our library.

3. Track your child(ren)’s progress on the bookmark we provide.

4. A parent must turn in each completed bookmark at our library.

5. The child(ren) will receive a prize to celebrate!
