Children aged 7-12 are welcome with a trusted adult to participate in this experience that will explore the themes of Amanda Gorman*’s poetry and Loren Long’s artwork in the lyrical picture book, Change Sings: A Children’s Anthem. They will create interpretative artwork that encourages them to think about unity, justice and making a difference – big and small in the world, our community and most importantly, themselves. All families will receive a copy of the book, Change Sings.
Together, let’s honor Dr. King’s teachings and contribute to a better community. Together, We Are The Change for a brighter tomorrow!
