This event has been rescheduled to March 26th.
The Jewish Library of Baltimore, in partnership with Associated Women, presents bestselling author Rachelle Bergstein. She will discuss her new book, The Genius of Judy: How Judy Blume Rewrote Childhood for All of Us, an intimate and expansive look at Judy Blume’s life, work, and cultural impact, focusing on her most iconic (and controversial) young adult novels.
Rachelle Bergstein is a lifestyle writer, bestselling author and editor, focused on style, pop culture and families. Inspired by Judy Blume’s longtime fight against book bans, she follows the current politically charged book banning crisis on her Substack, called “Banner Year.” She lives with her husband and son in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
You do not need to have read her book ahead of time to participate. Copies will be available for purchase on the evening of the event.
Cost includes a special community service project to benefit women in need.
Dessert and beverages will be served.
