Join us for this engaging and informative series, which explores the importance, value and lasting impact of endowment giving.

All sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. and include a light dinner and refreshments.

SESSION 2
Thursday, March 6
Building a Family Legacy: Creating Values-Driven Giving Across Generations
Facilitator: Lauren Klein, Vice President, Funds & Foundations, The Associated

In the second session, Lauren will focus on the importance of family-centered philanthropy. She will guide participants in defining their own giving values which can inspire all generations, sharing techniques to engage children and grandchildren in the giving process. With her background in multi-generational philanthropy, Lauren will explore how families can make their giving personal, impactful, and deeply rooted in shared values. Adult children and grandchildren are welcome to attend.

SESSION 3
Wednesday, March 26
Endowment Essentials: Creating Sustainable Impact Through Planned Giving
Facilitator: Kathy Sarlson, National Director of Life & Legacy, Harold Grinspoon Foundation

In the final session, Kathy will offer an in-depth look at the practical aspects of endowment and planned giving, tying together the themes of community and family impact. With her expertise, she willl cover strategies for structuring your own legacy gifts, including the financial and legal considerations, and ensuring gifts make a lasting difference. Kathy’s insights will empower participants with the tools to build enduring legacies that support the community’s long-term vision.
