Join guest host Rain Pryor for a truly one-of-a-kind show! Pryor, a writer, actor, and director, whose irreverent solo show Fried Chicken & Latkes has won both critical acclaim and prestigious awards, brings her charismatic talent and spirited presence to the BHC stage as the presenter of Broadway on Park Heights.

Pryor will be joined by Broadway and film star Robert Petkoff, who currently plays Harold Zidler in the Broadway production of the Tony-winning hit Moulin Rouge! The Musical. Petkoff was last seen in Baltimore at the Hippodrome in that same role. On Broadway, he performed as Sen. Hubert Humphrey in All the Way with Bryan Cranston, Lord Evelyn Oakley in Anything Goes with Sutton Foster, Tateh in Ragtime, Sir Robin the Brave in Spamalot, Perchik in Fiddler on The Roof with Alfred Molina and Epic Proportions with Kristen Chenoweth.

Pryor and Petkoff will also be joined by John Rapson. John Rapson is an actor, singer and writer who has performed on stages and screens across the world. In New York, John starred as Beadle Bamford in the smash hit 2023 revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Fleet Street starring Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford.  John was also seen on Broadway as Grantaire, Javert and Thenardier in the original Broadway cast of the 2014 revival of Les Miserables and as J.P. Morgan in the City Center Encores production of Ragtime. Off Broadway, John has appeared as Beadle Bamford (and eventually the title role) in Barrow Street Theatre’s acclaimed immersive Sweeney Todd, as Rapskullio and Dr. Ducharme in the original cast of Between the Lines and as Robert in The Play That Goes Wrong.

John has been seen across the country on the first national tour of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder – where he originated the role of The D’Ysquith family – leading the company by playing 8 different members of a vile and hilarious family (IRNE Award winner, SAGE Award winner).  Other theatrical credits include work at regional theaters all over North America: The Tale of Despereaux (Roscuro) at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, The Drowsy Chaperone (Aldolpho) at the Goodspeed Opera House, Oklahoma! (Jud) at Broadway Sacramento, Both Grand Horizons (Ben) and Camelot (Mordred) at the Asolo Repertory Theatre, The Play That Goes Wrong (Robert) at St. Louis Rep, and several tours of Japan with the Tokyo Philharmonic as the featured soloist of Disney on Classic playing a rogues gallery of Disney Villains.

John has appeared on “The Tony Awards”, “Good Morning America” and “America’s Got Talent” with various companies of Broadway and touring shows throughout the years as well as appearing in featured roles on “The Blacklist”, “The Gilded Age” and in the Michael Arden/Jefferson Mays adaptation of “A Christmas Carol”.

As a playwright, The Hollow (John’s terrifying, tour-de-force one actor adaptation of Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”) had its premiere in Fall of 2022 at Amphibian Stage in Fort Worth Texas. More productions are coming soon!

John is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan.

Broadway on Park Heights is produced by one of Baltimore’s best – Hannah Rosenthal Perlman. Hannah, a Baltimore Hebrew Day School alumna, is an associate producer on Broadway. Her current productions include Buena Vista Social Club (Broadway, Spring 2025), Purple Rain (world-premiere, Fall 2025) and the national tours of Book of Mormon, Funny Girl, and Life of Pi. Previous Broadway credits include Illinoise, and the reopening of To Kill A Mockingbird.
