Jewish Professional Women (JPW) Leadhership Event: Barbie’s Jewish Mother and Corporate Genius

Of course Barbie was created by a Jewish mother. Join JPW for the best night ever – an unforgettable and inspirational evening with best-selling author and historian, Robin Gerber. Robin will tell the remarkable true story of the world’s most iconic toy and the entrepreneurial woman who created her, Ruth Handler. Together, Ruth and Barbie changed American business and culture forever.

Leadhership Event

7:00 p.m. Includes reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Cost: $60 to attend the Leadhership Event Program

Lion of Judah Society Dinner

5:30 p.m. Lion of Judah Dinner (by invitation only).

Cost: $75 to attend the Lion of Judah dinner and Leadhership program


This special dinner before our signature Leadhership Event recognizes our community’s generous female philanthropists who contribute $6,000 or more to the Annual Campaign, individually or as part of a household.

You are welcome to invite a female relative or potential Lion to register to join you at this event.

Dietary laws observed for both dinner and reception.
