Breaking bread (or matzah!) together is one way to get to know someone, learn other people’s stories and build community. As we gather this month, join us for an interfaith and intercultural Baltimore Unity Supper—an evening of shared food, reflection, and dialogue across lines of difference.

We’ll engage with Valarie Kaur’s powerful TED Talk, Three Lessons of Revolutionary Love in a Time of Rage, as a springboard to explore how love can be a force for justice, bridge-building, and radical transformation. Together, we’ll consider how love—when practiced as labor, not just feeling—can shape how we show up for ourselves, for each other, and for our communities.

We’ll also honor the legacy of Freddie Gray and the ongoing movement for racial justice through the lens of Collective Responsibility: Freddie Gray Lives On Through Us, reflecting on how our shared liberation calls us into action and accountability. Through storytelling, guided discussion, and moments of ritual, we will create space to name our grief, kindle our hope, and renew our commitment to each other.

Let’s come together to share not just food, but also the truths, questions, and dreams that connect us across differences.
