Time to embrace the winter weather with a warm cup of coffee and candid chats with our latest episode of Mensches in Cars, Getting Coffee!

Heading into colder months, Yanky sits down for a hot cup of coffee (sans pumpkin spice) at Croustille Cafe in Pikesville with Chana Friedman and Jake Lieberman, community leaders within The Associated’s Young Adult Division and beyond. They also happen to be this year’s Zelda Miller Award Winners.

Chana Friedman is a senior accountant at the Columbia Group. Having a passion for helping others, Chana graduated from both the Baltimore Jewish Council’s Leadership Program and The Associated’s Young Leadership Council. Chana is also excited to co-chair the 2024-25 YLC Cohort.

Jake Lieberman works as a land development manager and real estate agent. Jake’s Associated journey began when he and his wife Jen founded the Couples Committee. He currently co-chairs Engage 365, an initiative that engages young adults in social programming and the early stages of philanthropy.

The Zelda Miller Award honors young adult leaders for their dedication to The Associated’s Annual Campaign. The recipients are chosen by Campaign professionals. This honor is made possibly by the friends, family and colleagues of Zelda Miller who, as an administrative assistant to two Campaign directors, inspired our volunteers and staff with her enthusiasm and dedication.
