Avi Wolasky is an attorney at Storzer & Associates, where he represents clients in religious land use cases under the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA), addressing discriminatory practices against religious institutions such as synagogues, churches, and mosques. He serves on the Baltimore City Police Accountability Board, advocating for transparency and justice in law enforcement practices. Additionally, Avi is a member of The Associated’s Young Leadership Council, and a board observer of The Associated’s Israel and Global committee. He graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and studied for a semester at Hebrew University Faculty of Law in Jerusalem.
Einav Tsach is a third-year student at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is president of his university’s Israeli-American Student Association and is an incoming Goldman Fellow with the American Jewish Committee (AJC).
With the support of Maryland Hillel and working with fellow student leaders, Einav has been deeply involved in advocacy for the Jewish and Israeli community. Since Oct. 7, Einav held roundtable discussions with senior administrators in his university, testified on its Task Force on Antisemitism and Islamophobia, and helped organize vigils and other events against antisemitism on campus. He’s also authored op-eds and essays on Israel and antisemitism in The Jerusalem Post, Haaretz, Tablet Magazine, and more.
He has organized campaigns with Jewish and allied student leaders to defeat two BDS resolutions in student government, worked with a coalition of DMV area students to hold a Rally Against Campus Antisemitism near the George Washington University encampment, and met with members of Congress to advocate for legislation to combat Jewish hate. He was recently the recipient of the Levenson Family Defender of Democracy Award from the Anti-Defamation League.
Einav is an Israeli immigrant to the United States. Studying journalism, international business, and Jewish studies, he hopes to join the media field as an entrepreneur.
Shanie Reichman is the director of strategic initiatives and director of IPF Atid at Israel Policy Forum, based in New York City, where she works to elevate the discourse around the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. She serves as the founding chair for the Forum Dvorah U.S. committee, an NGO that champions women’s participation in national security and foreign policy decision-making spheres in Israel. She is a Wexner Field Fellow, a Schusterman ROIer, and serves on the boards of Queens College Hillel and the Center for Ethnic, Racial and Religious Understanding. Her work has been published in the Forward, the Jerusalem Post, Times of Israel, Hey Alma, Jewish Unpacked, and International Policy Digest. She is a participating author in the book “Young Zionist Voices” and is pursuing her MA in Middle Eastern Studies at CUNY Graduate Center.
Maian Rahvalschi is the Senior Shlicha to The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore working with Jewish Educational Services and The Jewish Connection Network. She started her journey with Jewish and Israel education over 15 years ago many of them as a Shliach (emissary) through the Jewish Agency. Maian joined the IDF as an Educational NCO in the Israeli Navy training base, educating soldiers on the history of the Navy, the IDF, and the land of Israel. Before her current role, Maian worked for three years as a summer camp and Shlichut coordinator for the summer Shlichut program of the Jewish Agency. She holds a B.Ed. in Informal Education with honors and a teaching certificate in Jewish education from Beit Berl College in Israel.
In addition, she holds a certificate and an M.A. in Israel Experiential Education from George Washington University in a joint program with the iCenter.
