Summer is long gone but the Mensches are back and hanging on to those summer vibes with a trip to Playa Bowls in Pikesville in the latest episode of Mensches in Cars, Getting Coffee.
This time, Yanky is joined by Rebecca Fruman and Harel Turkel, active volunteers at The Associated and dedicated community leaders. Rebecca and Harel are the recipients of The Associated’s 2024 Harry Greenstein Young Leadership Award.
Harel Turkel is the current co-chair of The Associated’s Israel and Global Initiatives Task Force. The CEO of SOS Technology Group, Harel is also the immediate past president of Jewish Community Services and a current Associated board member and board of governors member.
Rebecca Fruman co-chairs Dignity Grows, an initiative of Associated Women that combats period poverty. She is a dedicated leader within Jewish Baltimore, having first started her leadership journey with The Associated when she participated in the Young Leadership Council.
The Harry Greenstein Young Leadership Award salutes a young man and woman who demonstrate a profound commitment and sustained leadership to The Associated. These outstanding individuals also display remarkable growth and leadership. This award, made possible by the Jill Fox Memorial Fund, is named in honor of Harry Greenstein, Executive Director of The Associated from 1928-1965.
Congratulations to Rebecca and Harel!
Get ready to grab your acai bowls, blend up those smoothies and join us for another episode of Mensches in Cars, Getting Coffee!
