The New Year is Upon Us

On October 2, Jews around the world will celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year. A time for personal introspection and prayer, Rosh Hashanah allows for spiritual growth.

The following week on October 11, Yom Kippur begins. Known as judgment day, many Jews say prayers and repent in order to obtain forgiveness for last year’s sins.

Purchasing a greeting card is a wonderful and meaningful way to celebrate the upcoming holiday, letting your loved ones know that you are thinking of them and supporting the Baltimore Jewish community: associated.org/giftcards.
