Support the Ashkelon Resilience Center Expansion: A Collaborative Baltimore Jewish Community Initiative.

During the murderous attack on October 7th, armed terrorists reached the outskirts of Ashkelon three times, and for days there was fear and actual infiltration of terrorists. From then until October 30, 1,266 missiles were fired at the city of Ashkelon alone, and 190 missiles fell inside the city. Twenty-four people were murdered on the Saturday and four people were killed, dozens injured from the rockets falling throughout the city.

The city needs a holistic, professional, and focused therapeutic response to prevent the development of post trauma for many of the residents. The response must be accessible and provided quickly.

Currently 1,600 people are receiving treatment, with 1,000 waitlisted for treatment. According to estimations based on previous escalations, the resilience center is expected to receive applications from between 8-10,000 residents.
