This one-hour workshop celebrates Gilda’s life and career and weaves archival footage of her Saturday Night Live characters with still photographs and television interviews. Her journey began in Detroit, through Canada to ‘The Big Apple’, and now to Third Space! Come spend a lovely Sunday with the glorious Gilda who Steve Martin called, “one of the purest spirits I have ever met.”
Karen Webber is a performance, teaching and liturgical artist who crafts music/theatre pieces for use in Zoom rooms, senior centers and in houses of worship. Ordained as a cantor by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in1990, she teaches Torah through creative expression. She has been the recipient of two grants from The Maryland State Arts Council served as a judge on a Folklife panel and for ‘Poetry Out Loud.’ Her rituals, poems, and prose have been published in Lilith Magazine, Unlikely Places, Five Minutes, Am Yisrael Chai, and Prophetic Voices among others. She is the co-author ‘Vessels of Light’ a 2025 book of photo poetry.
