The Associated’s Insight Israel Forum is delighted to welcome Dr. Einat Wilf as the 2026 Sue Glick Liebman Israel Scholar. Dr. Wilf is a leading thinker on Israel, Zionism, foreign policy and education. A former member of the Knesset, she is the author of seven books exploring key issues in Israeli society.

About Dr. Einat Wilf
Dr. Einat Wilf is Chair of Oz Party and a leading thinker on foreign relations, economics, education, Israel and the Jewish people. She is considered one of the most eloquent and effective spokespersons for the Israeli story in the international arena. Dr. Wilf served as a member of the Knesset from 2010 to 2013, representing the Labor and Independence parties.
Dr. Wilf holds a B.A. in Political Science from Harvard University, an MBA from INSEAD, France, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Cambridge, England, and was a visiting professor at Georgetown University. Dr. Wilf was born and raised in Israel and served as an intelligence officer in 8200, Israel’s cyber warfare and intelligence unit.
Sue Glick Liebman, z”l, was a devoted leader in the Baltimore Jewish community known for her passion and dedication to strengthening Jewish peoplehood, especially relationships among Jews in Israel and globally. Sue was a lifelong champion of Israel and a dedicated advocate for partnership programs and Jewish education initiatives.
Sue is remembered by her three children (one in Israel), five grandchildren (three in Israel) and six great-grandchildren (three in Israel). She was married to David Liebman for almost 45 years, and together they went to Israel many times.
The Sue Glick Liebman Israel Scholar program was established in Sue’s honor in 2017 to provide educational resources to deepen the Baltimore Jewish community’s relationship with the people, land and State of Israel.
