I send my children to Jewish private school because of the values I want them to learn. I want them to know that they have an obligation to give back, not only to the Jewish community, but also to the global community.

Thanks to The Associated’s Annual Campaign, we are able to provide funding for scholarships to Baltimore’s Jewish Day Schools as well as administer the Community Fund for Israel, the latter providing stipends to Jewish teens and young adults to make their Israel summer and gap year more affordable.
We are also able to offer in-school support for children with learning difficulties, helping them reach grade level, and provide programming that addresses social and emotional needs.
Thanks to our fundraising efforts, we also hold ongoing professional development for educators and administrators, including a mentor training program for new teachers and a helpline that enables teachers to receive expert advice to successfully educate our students.
We are also able to secure BOOST funds from the State of Maryland to help low-income students attend Jewish day schools through the advocacy work of its Baltimore Jewish Council and community partners.
