Welcome to the latest episode of Around the Table with Beth H. Goldsmith, a series dedicated to exploring the issues that matter most to the Baltimore Jewish community. In this episode, Beth sits down with three agency leaders from The Associated network about financial issues facing our community. Lisa Budlow, Chief Executive Officer of CHAI, Joan Grayson Cohen, Executive Director of Jewish Community Services (JCS) and Addie Lewis Klein, Executive Director of Macks Jewish Connection Network join Beth to discuss rising costs, unemployment, breaking the financial stigma and understanding who benefits from financial support.

Comprehensive Housing Assistance, Inc. (CHAI) is a nonprofit housing and community development organization that serves northwest Baltimore. For over 40 years, CHAI has built deep connections and helped residents of all ages thrives, making our Baltimore neighborhoods stronger through community programs, housing assistance and much more.

Jewish Community Services’s (JCS) mission to provide programs and services for people of all ages is more important than ever. Rooted in Jewish values, JCS offers counseling programs, financial assistance and professional development opportunities, just to name a few, that improve the lives of many members of our Baltimore Jewish community.
