The Ethics of Multidisciplinary Collaboration in Outpatient Mental Health

March 18 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm

Zoom

Free – $37.50

This training explores the ethical complexities that arise during multidisciplinary staffing’s in outpatient mental health settings. While CARF standards and the NASW Code of Ethics emphasize collaboration across disciplines, clinicians often encounter ethical tensions related to confidentiality, professional boundaries, and differing treatment philosophies.

Participants will examine how theoretical orientation informs clinical decision-making in multidisciplinary contexts and apply ethical reasoning to real-world scenarios involving medication management, financial stressors, and disability-related concerns.

Through reflection, discussion, and applied case analysis, clinicians will strengthen their capacity to navigate collaborative care ethically and effectively.

Offers 1.5 Category 1 CEUs.
