Friday, June 5th | 6 PM | Services in the Park | Maryland Zoo’s Waterfowl Pavilion
We’ll kick-off Shabbat of Gratitude with Services in the Park, dedicated to honoring Rabbi Daniel Coztin Burg’s 16 years of service to Beth Am and the Baltimore community. The evening will feature the Taharka Brothers Ice Cream Truck, a BYO picnic dinner, and musical Klei Kodesh services with Rav Daniel, Rav Tyler, Eliyah Burg, and Uncle Ira’s Washboard Ensemble!
6 PM | BYO dairy/parve picnic dinner and the Taharka Brothers Ice Cream Truck!
PLUS, Penguin encounter from 6-6:30 PM!
7 PM | Klei Kodesh Kabbalat Shabbat Services
Saturday, June 6th
9:30 AM | Shabbat Morning Services & Kiddush Lunch | Beth Am Synagogue
Join us for Shabbat Morning Services, including Rabbi Burg’s farewell sermon, tributes from honored guests, and a special catered Kiddush lunch.
6PM | Beth Am Synagogue
Our Shabbat of Gratitude will culminate in seudah shlishit, shabbat zmirot, a concert with Nefesh Mountain, and Havdalah services. Just as Havdalah guides us into a new week with prayers of sweetness, we will mark this transition with prayers of gratitude for Rabbi Burg and family as they begin this next great adventure!
