June 8 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Join us for an inspiring and timely evening as we welcome advocate and rising Jewish leader Tessa Veksler for our 2nd Annual Ruth and Jay Lenrow Visiting Scholar-in-Residence for Combating Antisemitism.
A nationally recognized voice in the fight against antisemitism, Tessa has become a powerful advocate for Israel and Jewish identity, drawing from her firsthand experiences as a student leader navigating hostility on college campuses. From standing up to antisemitism in student government to amplifying her message across the country, she continues to empower others with courage, clarity, and conviction. Her advocacy has earned her numerous recognitions, including an invitation to the White House, United Nations, UCSB’s University Service Award, and a recent feature in the documentary October 8th.
Tessa was also featured prominently in the movie October 8, available to rent or stream here.
Come be part of an important community conversation—and leave inspired to stand strong, speak out, and make a difference.
