Dr. Benjamin Edinger is Chair of the Department of Radiology at LifeBridge Health, where he leads radiology services across multiple hospitals with a focus on innovation, quality and efficiency. He has played a key role in launching new programs such as contrast-enhanced mammography and cardiac CT angiography and in advancing the use of AI in imaging to improve diagnostic accuracy and workflow.
Before stepping into his current role, Dr. Edinger served as Chief of Radiology for Northwest Hospital and Medical Director of Radiology for Sinai, Northwest and Grace Hospitals. With over two decades of experience, he has built a reputation for enhancing imaging operations, streamlining systems and fostering collaboration across medical disciplines.
A graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Edinger completed his radiology residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He also holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Columbia University, an early foundation for his passion for technology and innovation in medicine.
