About the Book:
In Never Let Them See You Sweat: How Science Can Help Us Harness Stress for Success, physician, author and media contributor Dr. Leigh Vinocur combines the science of stress with personal stories of family, motherhood, career reinvention, caregiving and loss.
She challenges the idea that stress is simply something to eliminate and instead shows how it can be reframed as a tool for growth, resilience, and success. With warmth, honesty, humor and heart, she offers readers a compassionate roadmap for navigating life’s inevitable challenges with greater confidence, perspective and self-compassion. The book encourages readers to rethink their relationship with stress and discover both the resilience and strength they may not realize they already possess.
Books will be available for purchase. Free and open to the community. Pre-registration is requested.
