What is Jewish Camp?

It’s swimming, campfires and color games. It’s wearing white for Shabbat and learning something new. Jewish camp is about discovering yourself and making lifelong friendships.

“Camp is a second home to me. It’s a place where I can just be me. I’m ready to go back now!” – Izzie, 10

Jewish camp is the place where you can build your Jewish identity while driving go-karts, starring in plays, conquering the ropes course or playing in a rock band.

Attending a Jewish camp means your child is much more likely to continue their Jewish journey throughout their life – at Hillel in college, through a Birthright trip to Israel or by becoming a community leader in adulthood.

There are countless camps that have all this and more.

Feeling overwhelmed with choices? Don’t worry – we’re here to help you find the right match!
