If you are a care partner to someone with Dementia, this group, which meets on the first and third Mondays each month, offers conversation, support, resources and education.


B’More Inclusive Workshop
February 3

In this interactive workshop, teens explore how everyday accessibility features, including ramps, captions and large print, help create inclusive communities. Using Jewish values such as B’tzelem Elohim and Tzedek, participants will discuss, reflect and imagine ways to make Jewish spaces more welcoming for everyone.


CHADD (Children and Adults with ADD) parents meeting is hosting Dr. Rochel Leiberman as she discusses the book Today’s Mindful Parent: Story Emotion Social Therapy (SEST) Self-Supporting Strategies for Connecting with Yourself Before Connecting with Your Children.


Caring for a neurodivergent child or loved one can bring unique joys and challenges. This group provides a safe and supportive space for parents and caregivers to explore the emotional side of caregiving, process feelings and build resilience together. Meetings held every Wednesday on Zoom from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.


Join us for an evening of conversation, reflection and creativity as two local teen writers explore how storytelling can shed light on disability and family experiences.

If you are living with Parkinson’s Disease, this group provides support for coping with the physical, emotional and social impact of the disease.

If you have macular degeneration or other visual impairments, this monthly group offers conversation, support and the latest information on resources and assistive technology. Attend in-person or remotely.


JCS Memory Cafe

Individuals with memory impairment and their care partners are invited to the monthly JCS Memory Café, a welcoming, relaxed place to meet with others. Enjoy refreshments, sensory-stimulating activities and supportive socialization.


This workshop provides a framework for effectively and empathetically responding to individuals at risk for or experiencing a mental health crisis. 2.0 Category I Anti-Oppressive Practice CEUs.

JDAIM Mitzvah Mutts

A special presentation about service animals—what they do, how they support people with disabilities and why their work is so important. Following the presentation, we will continue with our traditional Mitzvah Mutts experience.


This conference invites educators and caregivers to look past difficult behaviors and discover the strengths, needs and potential of every child. Learn how shifting focus from “fixing behavior” to nurturing connection and growth can transform challenges into opportunities for belonging and success.
