Mark Fine joined the Orioles as Chief Marketing Officer in February 2025. In this role, he leads the marketing, brand and content, communications and game presentation departments for the club, shaping how the club connects with fans across Baltimore and beyond. His focus is on building the next generation of Orioles fans through innovation, storytelling and an elevated ballpark experience that reflects the energy and pride of Birdland.
Fine previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Professional Bull Riders (PBR), the largest bull riding organization in the world, from August 2023 to January 2025. During his tenure, PBR saw its fan base grow to nearly 80 million people across the United States, its largest ever. Before PBR, Fine was CEO of the expansion National Lacrosse League’s Las Vegas Desert Dogs, co-owned by hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, and was named the 2022-23 National Lacrosse League Executive of the Year after completing the team’s first season with industry-leading marketing, sales, and community-oriented initiatives.
Fine spent two years with the Brooklyn Nets as Vice President, Team Marketing, during which Sports Business Journal nominated the Nets as Best in Sports Social Media and GQ named them as the Most Stylish Team in Professional Sports. Before joining the Nets, he spent six years with the New York Mets from 2013-19 as Executive Director, Marketing, where he launched fan engagement campaigns encouraging children to attend their first baseball game and spearheaded a groundbreaking collaboration with Marvel Entertainment, recognized by MLB.com as the Best Promotion in Major League Baseball in 2017. Fine got his start in live event marketing with the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters, and at Comcast Spectacor with roles at the Frederick Keys Baseball Team (MD), Xfinity Mobile Arena (PA), and Chartway Arena (VA).
Fine, a native of Baltimore and American University (D.C.) graduate, was a public relations intern with the Orioles during the 1999 and 2000 seasons and was the Assistant to the Official Scorer (Jim Henneman) at National Baseball Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr.’s final game in October 2001.
