Upcoming Program Looks at The Role of Millennials
in the Future of Philanthropy

With nearly 75 million Millennials nationwide, this generation remains an untapped resource for many nonprofits. Join The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore’s Planned Giving Roundtable (PGRT) on February 24, 8:00 a.m. for a special program, Millennial Philanthropy: The Next Generation of Philanthropy

Featuring Dr. Holly Hull Miori, academic, researcher and fundraising professional, the conversation will explore how Millennials, as donors, board members and volunteers, will shape the future of philanthropy.

Dr. Holly Hull Miori has spent more than two decades in fundraising and foundation work. Serving as the Associate Vice Chancellor and Development and Chief Development Officer at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, she has conducted research on philanthropy trends, including faith-based fundraising, family foundations, parachurches and conscious capitalism. Her recent book, Millennial Philanthropy: Next Generation Fund Development for Professionals and Nonprofits, written with Palgrave Springer, is a guide to help nonprofits and fundraisers engage this generation more effectively.

This program is eligible for one hour of Continuing Education (CE) credits for: AEP, CAP, CFP and CPA. Breakfast will be served.

The Associated’s PGRT holds programs throughout the year that bring together professionals who may be involved in some aspect of a planned gift to charity. These programs allow participants to enhance their technical skills and hear from nationally recognized planned giving and financial experts.
