Join us for a special event as filmmakers/performers YidLife Crisis (yidlifecrisis.com) makes their Baltimore debut to perform and present their brand new documentary film, all in one night! Jamie Elman & Eli Batalion travelled to the last place on earth they’d expect YIDDISH to be a protected minority language: Sweden(?!), inspiring their fascinating chronicle of the Swedish Jewish community, SWEDISHKAYT: YidLife Crisis in Stockholm. In this special engagement, the boychiks from Montreal will not just accompany the film but perform their patented comedy duo shtik and close out the evening with live music. Expect to learn, laugh, and be inspired… not necessarily in that order.
