The Forum’s fall Viewpoints series continues with a special presentation, Beyond the Old Conflicts: Israel’s New Role in a Fragmented Middle East, by Hayvi Bouzo, a Syrian-American media professional, political analyst and journalist. Hayvi is the co-founder and presenter of Yalla, an Arabic-language program that showcases success stories of people building the future of the Middle East, and a co-founder of the Middle East 24 network.

Hayvi Bouzo
Hayvi is a Syrian-born American journalist, TV host, commentator and public speaker. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Yalla Productions, an Arabic-language media company that showcases success stories of people building the future of the Middle East.
Previously, Hayvi served for ten years as Washington, D.C. bureau chief for Orient News Channel and is best known for creating and hosting Fi Al-Mahwar, a critically acclaimed political television show focused on the Middle East and U.S. foreign policy. Fi Al-Mahwar has aired in over 60 countries and has been viewed by millions. On this show, Hayvi interviews high-ranking U.S. officials and covers various controversial topics in the Middle East like combating extremism, promoting dialogue to build peace, and confronting antisemitism and hatred.
