September 9 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm

The Associated’s Pearlstone Boardroom

5700 Park Heights Avenue
Baltimore, MD 21215
Free

Join the Baltimore Jewish Council for an evening of Jewish cultural immersion and learn about one of the many Jewish languages of the Diaspora, Ladino! Ladino, a mix of Castilian Spanish and Hebrew, has a unique and rich history and culture, and we are excited to share it with you in this beginner’s workshop!

Our evening of learning will be led by Ethan Marcus:

Ethan is the Managing Director of the Sephardic Jewish Brotherhood of America, the national umbrella organization for the Ladino-speaking Sephardic community in the United States. In this capacity, he has rapidly grown the Sephardic community’s membership base and developed innovative programs to engage a new generation of young Sephardic Jews around the world.
