Echoes + Exchange: Jewish Identity in Song

Join the Jewish Museum of Maryland and Opera Baltimore for an evening of music exploring tradition, transformation, belonging, resilience, and the forces that have shaped American Jewish life.

Internationally renowned soprano Sara Duchovnay will perform works by Jewish composers including Camilla Frydan, Abraham Goldfaden, Kurt Weill, Baltimore composer Hugo Weisgall, and more.

Presented as part of JMM’s Core Connections series, the recital is also part of Voices in Solidarity: Baltimore’s Black and Jewish Operatic History, an initiative led by Opera Baltimore in partnership with the Jewish Museum of Maryland and the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture.
