Hear from Rebecca Krasner, executive director of The Associated’s Center for Counter Antisemitism and Hate, and Joel Frankel, senior director of Community Capacity at the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, as they discuss efforts to counter antisemitism and hate in their respective communities. The conversation will offer perspectives on how leaders are responding to these challenges and working to build stronger, more connected communities.
This event is by invitation only. Lunch will be provided. Dietary laws observed.

Rebecca Krasner is the executive director of The Associated’s Center for Counter Antisemitism and Hate. Prior to joining The Associated, she served as director of education at the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia, where she led educational initiatives focused on Jewish history, identity, and combating antisemitism. A New York native, Rebecca brings extensive experience in education, storytelling, and community engagement to her work building partnerships and developing proactive strategies to address antisemitism and hate.
Joel Frankel is the senior director of Strategic Planning and Allocations at the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. Previously, he served as CEO of the Jewish Federation of Howard County and held leadership roles with Jewish federations across the country. With a background in finance, Jewish studies, and community leadership, Joel brings extensive experience in strategic planning, philanthropy, and building collaborative partnerships to strengthen Jewish communities.
