This fall, The Associated welcomed the newest members of its Young Leadership Council, Class of 2027.
Over the next two years, this group of Jewish professionals, ages 29-39, will grow together as leaders, build meaningful connections and make an impact across the Baltimore Jewish community.
From September 2025 through May 2027, the cohort will take part in monthly seminars focused on leadership development, community engagement and personal growth. Along the way, they’ll hear from inspiring speakers, get a behind-the-scenes look at The Associated and its network of agencies and connect with peers who share their passion for shaping Baltimore’s Jewish future.
Austin Berg
Austin was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and studied finance at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Originally, Austin began his career in the demolition and environmental sector and is now fully focused on real estate investment across the country. As a proud Jew, he is actively involved in the Jewish community, a long-time supporter of The Associated and a member of the National Leadership Network (NLN) for AIPAC.
Brooke Berman
Brooke formerly taught elementary school, first in Delaware and then here in Baltimore at Boys’ Latin. She is currently home with her two daughters, while also teaching dance part-time and choreographing for high school musical productions. Brooke is active at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School and currently serves as the Beth Tfiloh Partner Connector for the Macks Jewish Connection Network.
Seth Danels
Since a young age, Seth has been committed to fostering his Jewish identity, whether it was attending Krieger Schechter Day School, being a part of Diller Teen Fellows or attending Beth El Congregation with his family. Seth works as the leasing and sales coordinator for Sinclair Broadcasting Group and has enjoyed learning about the broadcasting business and working in the commercial real estate field.
Menachem Mendel Davis
Menachem grew up in Baltimore, with two formative years studying in Israel that helped shape his outlook on life and community. Today, he serves as CEO of Nova Insurance Company, based in the Grand Cayman Islands, building a background in financial services and alternative risk management.
Danielle Dermer
Dani is originally from Baltimore and has been involved in Jewish life over the years through various organizations, including her time at Beth Tfiloh from fifth to twelfth grade. She attended Towson University and is an occupational therapist specializing in pediatric development and pelvic floor therapy.
Ethan Felderstein
Ethan was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and is a lifelong member of Baltimore Hebrew Congregation. He also previously participated in the Baltimore Jewish Council’s Leadership Development Program. He is a franchise development marketing manager at HomeWell Care Services, one of the country’s largest home care providers.
Berel Galkin
Berel works as a Project Director for MOI, a full-service office furniture company that helps people design offices and create intelligent spaces where people want to work, live and stay. He is passionate about bringing teams together to create environments that not only look great but also support productivity and well-being.
Rachel Greenwald
Rachel is originally from Hagerstown, Maryland but came to Baltimore for law school at the University of Maryland and never left. She started at the Office of the Public Defender for Baltimore City in the fall of 2023 in the misdemeanor district court division. She recently transferred to the juvenile division, where she fiercely advocates for the best outcomes for the children she represents.
Adam Leah Harvey
Adam Leah grew up in Portland, Oregon and ended up in Maryland pursuing a PhD in Physics. Following graduation, they took a job as a systems engineer working at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. Outside of their professional work, Adam Leah is currently a member of the JPride Board of Directors and a member of the American Astronomical Society Committee for Sexual-orientation and Gender Minorities in Astronomy (AAS SGMA).
Andrew Hurwitz
Andrew is a proud fourth-generation Baltimore native who is excited to be back and rejoin the Baltimore Jewish community after spending the last 10 years in New York and Chicago. Andrew is a graduate of Beth Tfiloh and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He currently works in industrial real estate development, overseeing development and acquisition across the east coast for Bridge Industrial.
Jordana Hurwitz
Jordana grew up in the Baltimore community and recently returned with her family after a 10-year stint in New York and Chicago. Jordana is a graduate of Beth Tfiloh and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. She previously worked for American Express with a focus in product management, marketing and product development. With the recent move, Jordana is taking a break from the corporate world.
Lindsey Jeanniton
Lindsey is a director of operations for Ob/Gyn at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. Originally from New York and now having been in Baltimore for about ten years, Lindsey brings strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to Jewish values. Lindsey is passionate about fostering connections and creating opportunities that strengthen the Jewish community.
Miriam Kadosh
Miriam is a Baltimore native who recently moved back. She is an oncology social worker, working in patient advocacy at the Melanoma Research Foundation, where she directs the education and patient engagement team to provide education, support and resources to melanoma patients and the community at large.
Yondi Kadosh
Yondi Kadosh is a transplant from Atlanta, Georgia, to the Baltimore community. Yondi completed his undergraduate degree in Jewish Studies at the University of Maryland, where he met his wife, Miriam. Yondi is completing his residency in podiatric surgery and medicine.
Kathleen Godwin Pinsky
Kathleen Pinsky is an attorney based in Baltimore, Maryland. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where she received a B.A. in Government and Politics as well as Women’s Studies. After completing her undergraduate degree, she attended the University of Baltimore School of Law and received a J.D before becoming admitted to the Maryland Bar. A member of Beth El Congregation, Kathleen balances her legal career with a strong commitment to community and family life.
Susan Radov
A proud Baltimore native, Susan earned her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where she served as vice president of student government and co-president of the Jewish Business Association. She began her career as a national security management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting leaders at the Pentagon and U.S. Department of State.
Following October 7, Susan emerged as a leading voice against campus antisemitism—organizing rallies, lobbying on Capitol Hill. She was honored with a 2025 National Jewish Leadership Award from the Jewish Graduate Organization.
Alex Rosenzwog
Born and raised in Pikesville, Maryland and spent his early school years at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School. After graduation, Alex earned his bachelor’s degree in business management, with a minor in Real Estate Management and Development at Drexel University. Beginning his career in the real estate industry, after half a decade, Alex moved into the insurance industry, becoming a broker for Mayer & Steinberg, focusing on personal and commercial insurance policies.
Sam Shapiro
Sam grew up in Baltimore after moving from Pittsburgh. He graduated from George Washington University in 2018 with a degree in Business Administration. He began his career at JLL in D.C. as a project manager before transitioning into commercial real estate brokerage in JLL’s Baltimore office in 2022.
Ryan Solomon
Ryan is the director of business analytics for the Americas Supply Chain at Under Armour. With over a decade of experience in analytics and supply chain, he is passionate about leveraging data to drive meaningful business outcomes. Ryan received his B.S. in Business and Economics at the University of Maryland, College Park, and earned his MBA through a joint program at the University of Baltimore and Towson University.
Sarah Vorsanger
Sarah is originally from Queens, New York and moved to Baltimore three years ago. Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter College on a full academic scholarship and later completed her master’s in marine science at the University of South Carolina. She has worked in the tech industry for the past four years and currently serves as a strategic customer success manager at Paycor, where she enjoys helping customers and building lasting relationships.
