November 17 @ 8:00 am – 10:00 am
Emily Wagman, Associate at Hemenway & Barnes LLP
8:00 a.m. Networking | 8:30 a.m. Program
This program is eligible for one hour of Continuing Education (CE) credits for: AEP, CAP, CFP and CPA.
Join PGRT for a conversation with Emily Wagman about current opportunities for using retirement assets to support clients’ philanthropic goals in a tax-efficient way. Emily will discuss strategies including qualified charitable distributions (QCDs), beneficiary designations and charitable remainder trust planning. She’ll also share perspective on how advisors, donors and charities are using these strategies to maximize their philanthropic impact.
Whether helping clients plan charitable gifts during their lifetime or create a lasting philanthropic legacy, professional advisors can play an important role in identifying opportunities to use retirement assets to achieve both charitable and financial goals.
