Stand with Us for Peace in Israel:
Community Prayer Services

The events unfolding in Israel are horrific. We know that these last few days have been incredibly difficult as we watch our friends, family, loved ones and neighbors come under attack.

It is important now, more than ever, that we come together as a community — That we show our collective support for our friends and family overseas.

The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore and The Baltimore Jewish Council are proud to support our synagogue partners and community in solidarity with Israel in time of crisis.

Below you will find information for two prayer services and gatherings from Baltimore Synagogues. More events may be added in the coming days.

Tonight — Monday, October 9 | 8:00 p.m.

The Vaad HaRabbonim declares a Kinus Tefila (prayer gathering) this evening at Congregation Shomrei Emunah.

Virtual and in-person options available.

Tomorrow — Tuesday, October 10 | 7:00 p.m.

The Baltimore Board of Rabbis is hosting a prayer service at Beth Tifoloh.

No registration required. However, please note that to help with security processing, please bring only small bags and allow extra time to enter the building. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Bags may be subject to inspection for added security measures.

We encourage all community members to attend as we proudly stand in solidarity and pray for peace and the safe return of the hostages.
