October 11 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
In commemoration of October 7th, the JCC presents this acclaimed documentary following ten young Israeli survivors as they travel from Israel to Los Angeles to attend the legendary Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp. The screening is followed by a discussion with film producer and camp founder David Fishof. More than a documentary, the film serves as a catalyst for conversation, remembrance, healing, and community. After the screening, join us for a discussion with film producer and camp founder David Fishof.
Carrying unimaginable trauma, they discover healing, resilience, and hope through music while being mentored by legendary musicians from bands including Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen, and Black Sabbath — reclaiming their voices, one note at a time.
The Bridge chronicles healing, connection, and recovery through music. What begins as a leap into the unknown becomes a once-in-a-lifetime journey — proof that even after the darkest moments, music can be more than sound. It can be salvation.
Produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Kevin S. Bright, executive producer and director of the hit television series Friends, and veteran talent representative David Fishof, founder and CEO of the famed Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp, in association with the nonprofit Rock ’N’ Heal. Both are among a growing group of artists, industry leaders, and survivors who believe in the film’s power to inspire healing and hope by showcasing the power of music.
Presented in partnership with FIDF and the Embassy of Israel.
