b'For our Jewish future Although we pivoted this year, we remained committed to supporting Jewish life in Baltimore. Its no coincidence that this was a year when interest in Jewish life soared. Tens of thousands came out for our rich virtual offerings that ranged from the Jewish Film Festival at the JCCs Gordon Center for Performing Arts to the history and cultural programs at the Jewish Museum of Maryland. The Connectors at The Macks Center for Jewish Education brought together young families virtually and in small groups, with meaningful programs around holidays like Purim and Passover.Jewish camp opened at the JCC and quickly filled up. Attendance at Pearlstones Farm and Forest School, an immersive experience combining Jewish wisdom with nature, grew exponentially, engaging new people who never participated before. And Naaleh brought hundreds of leaders together on a journey to explore a vision of what Jewish leadership looks like in our community. Despite the pandemic, we also were fortunate to welcome six shinshinimIsraeli teen emissariesto Baltimore. They shared their culture and love of Israel virtually and in-person, with young families, schoolchildren, parents and older adults, ultimately creating stronger Jewish identities for all those who came in contact. 4Front made me want to get involved in every Jewish program I can get my hands on in college.'
