Guided by our Jewish values of Tikkun Olam (repair the word), we took action around issues of common concern. Recognizing that it is imperative to provide our children with a better world, we fought hate, strengthened communities and addressed a warming planet. We built bridges by engaging in dialogue between racial, ethnic and faith communities that would garner greater understanding and respect. We continued our work battling antisemitism, training Marylands educators about the Holocaust so they would be better prepared to teach their students. We remained committed to healthy neighborhoods, revitalizing parks and rehabilitating vacant houses in Park Heights. And we addressed climate change through our ongoing commitment and investment in sustainability projects throughout our Associated network. DIDThe Baltimore Jewish Council strengthened YOUour communitys security as its security KNOW director held 44 security consultations across the state at synagogues, Jewish organizations and schools to ensure the safety of our institutions. 34 CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP'
