Family Mission


December 22 - 30, 2019

Stop waiting... bring your family on the journey of a lifetime! From rappelling into the Ramon Crater, to digging at an ancient archaeological excavation, from the ancient city of Jerusalem, to the birthplace of modern Israel in Tel Aviv, all of Israel is yours to discover. Walk through ancient tunnels in Jerusalem, climb Masada, float in the Dead Sea, do hands-on service and climb onto an Israeli fighter jet.

What makes this exceptional trip even more special? This trip includes an incredible Bar/Bat Mitzvah experience for those families wishing to celebrate this milestone in Israel. Whether you're seeing Israel for the first time or are a frequent visitor, this Family Mission has unique and top-notch experiences for you and your family.

Basic Land Cost
$3,995 attendees 14 and older at the time of travel
$2,995 attendees ages 13 and under at the time of travel
Upgraded rooms (suites, executive suites, etc.) are available on a limited basis, by request, and for an additional fee.

Please note: A minimum gift of $1,800 per household to the Annual Campaign is requested.

Deposit & Payments

$500 per person deposit due before we can guarantee your reservation.
The deposit is fully refundable until March 30, 2019, at which time fees are imposed by the hotels.

The balance of your trip is due July 31, 2019. You will receive an invoice in June 2019.

Rooming selections will be required by May 1, 2019. 


  • Flights are to be booked on your own.
  • United and El Al run the most frequent flights from Newark, JFK and Dulles.
  • We are aware that individuals may have preferences in airline carriers and the utilization of travel points to book airline tickets. In addition, there may be a desire to arrive early or remain longer in Israel, or venture to another destination either before or after the mission. To that end, we ask that you arrive in Israel by 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22. Our program begins at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22. Please do not make plans to depart Israel until the conclusion of dinner on Monday, December 30.

Cancellation Policy

The $500 deposit is refundable until March 30, 2019. Any other amounts paid in excess of the deposit will be refunded to the participants wishing to cancel 45 or more days before departure. There will be no refunds available for cancellations made within 45 days of departure. If The Associated chooses to cancel the mission for any reason, all payments will be refunded.

We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance within 14 days of making your deposit. Choose a plan that’s best for you, and will cover refunds for land deposits/payment as well as airline costs.
