SUMMARY:The Ethics of Multidisciplinary Collaboration in Outpatient Mental Health
DESCRIPTION:The Ethics of Multidisciplinary Collaboration in Outpatient Mental Health\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nThis training explores the ethical complexities that arise during multidisciplinary staffing’s in outpatient mental health settings. While CARF standards and the NASW Code of Ethics emphasize collaboration across disciplines\, clinicians often encounter ethical tensions related to confidentiality\, professional boundaries\, and differing treatment philosophies. Participants will examine how theoretical orientation informs clinical decision-making in multidisciplinary contexts and apply ethical reasoning to real-world scenarios involving medication management\, financial stressors\, and disability-related concerns. Through reflection\, discussion\, and applied case analysis\, clinicians will strengthen their capacity to navigate collaborative care ethically and effectively. Offers 1.5 Category 1 CEUs. \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n Upcoming Events\n \n \n\n\n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A Night of Comedy Celebrating the Legacy You’ve Built\n This evening is just for you\, our Circle of Giving donors and Harry Greenstein Legacy Society members. DESCRIPTION:Sabbath Queen: Film Screening and Talkback\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nFilmed over 21 years\, Sabbath Queen follows Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie’s epic journey as the dynastic heir of 38 generations of Orthodox rabbis including the Chief Rabbis of Israel. He is torn between rejecting and embracing his destiny and becomes a drag-queen rebel\, a queer bio-dad\, and the founder of Lab/Shul—an everybody-friendly\, God-optional\, artist-driven\, pop-up experimental congregation. Sabbath Queen joins Amichai on a lifelong quest to creatively and radically reinvent religion and ritual\, challenge patriarchy and supremacy\, champion interfaith love\, and stand up for peace. The film interrogates what Jewish survival means in a difficult rapidly changing 21st century. \n\n\n \nSandi DuBowski is the Director/Producer of Sabbath Queen\, Director/Producer of Trembling Before G-d\, Producer of A Jihad for Love\, and Co-Producer of Budrus. His award-winning work has screened at Sundance\, Berlin\, Tribeca and Toronto\, theatrically released in 150 cities\, and broadcast on ZDF/Arte\, BBC\, Channel 4\, PBS. In 2020\, he was invited to become a member of the Documentary Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. \n\n\n \nSocial activist and storyteller\, writer and community leader\, Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie (he/him) is the Co-Founding Spiritual Leader of the Lab/Shul community in NYC and the creator of the ritual theater company Storahtelling\, Inc. Israeli born\, he’s been living in New York since 1998. He received his rabbinical ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in 2016\, the 39th generation of rabbis in his family — the first one to be openly queer. Amichai is Abba to Alice\, Ezra and Cai-Hallel. \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n Upcoming Events\n \n \n\n\n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A Night of Comedy Celebrating the Legacy You’ve Built\n This evening is just for you\, our Circle of Giving donors and Harry Greenstein Legacy Society members. This engaging book takes young readers on a journey through a typical Passover Seder\, from the arrival of the first guests to the singing of final prayers. \n\n\n \nAbout the Author: Claire Freeland is the award-winning author of several psychology-based books for children and teens. A career more than three decades’ long as a child psychologist taught her that the stories you tell yourself and others are formative. She believes in the power of words to do good in the world and create joy. Now she has turned to writing Jewish children’s books to create Jewish joy. DESCRIPTION:Antisemitism\, Anti-Zionism\, Jewish Safety and the Jewish Future: Crisis and Opportunity for American Jews\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nWhile the tragedies of October 7 and its aftermath\, as well as the rise of authoritarianism in the U.S.\, and most recently\, the New York City mayoral election revealed deep schisms in the American Jewish community\, these divisions are not new. Painful fissures have been forming for years over Israel\, Zionism\, and antisemitism in our communities and our institutions\, and our synagogues and our homes. \n\n\n \nAt a flashpoint for both American Jews and our American democracy\, during this session we will explore their impact on the safety of American Jews; the threats and possibilities for our Jewish American future; and what’s at risk for all Americans. \n\n\n \nGinna Green is Founder and Principal at Horizon Philanthropy: Jewish Funders for a Just Future\, an initiative designed to strengthen the American Jewish commitment to an inclusive\, multiracial U.S. democracy. She is also Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at Uprise\, where she leads the practice on philanthropic advising within the Jewish community\, and is a principal strategist for its progressive movement and Jewish social justice sector clients. Previously\, she worked as Chief Strategy Officer at Bend the Arc\, Democracy Program Director at ReThink Media\, and Communications Manager at the Center for Responsible Lending. \n\n\n \nAn alum of the Wexner Heritage Program\, Jeremiah Fellowship\, Selah Leadership Program\, and Schusterman Fellowship\, Ginna also sits on the boards of Bend the Arc\, Jewish Story Partners\, and Women’s March\, and the Leadership Team of the Jewish Social Justice Roundtable. She is the mother of four amazing kids from graduate school to fifth grade\, a native southerner\, a better-than-decent cook\, and a big fan of good bourbon. \n\n\n \nA part of the series Wrestling with Complexity: Israel in Our Time \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n Upcoming Events\n \n \n\n\n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A Night of Comedy Celebrating the Legacy You’ve Built\n This evening is just for you\, our Circle of Giving donors and Harry Greenstein Legacy Society members. In 2025\, the band released their fourth studio album\, Lucius\, which Rolling Stone called “the best album of their career.” Lucius’ most personal and purposeful album to date explores relationships\, motherhood\, and life’s complexities with a unique vulnerability only made possible due to the familial nature of the band. The New Yorker praises\, “The band’s new self-titled album reaches the pinnacle of a vibrant\, harmonic enterprise\,” while Paste describes their sound as “girl-group revivalism\, cosmic pop\, and a kind of bicoastal harmonizing that once echoed through western canyons.” \n\n\n \nLucius’ self-titled record follows an impressive history of critically acclaimed full-length projects. Their debut\, Wildewoman\, introduced their signature dual lead vocals and retro charm. It was widely praised for the album’s throwback sound with NPR declaring it “perfect\, magnetic pop music” Meanwhile\, The Guardian called lead singers Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig’s voices “powerful … melding beautifully in harmony.” With the release of Good Grief in 2016\, Lucius traded some of their folk roots for polished synth-pop. The band’s acclaimed 2022 record\, Second Nature\, marked a striking return\, and was produced by Brandi Carlile and Dave Cobb. Released to overwhelming acclaim\, the Los Angeles Times praised\, “dazzling…Second Nature mines an ’80s-pop sound with lush synths and sleek disco grooves under the women’s laser-guided vocals\,” while Relix proclaimed\, “stunning…a 10-song\, smart-pop masterpiece.” \n\n\n \nThroughout their acclaimed career\, Lucius has performed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”\, “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”\, BBC’s Later! with Jools Holland\, PBS’ “Austin City Limits” and “The Kelly Clarkson Show”. Holly Laessig and Jess Wolfe are some of the most sought-after collaborators in popular music due to their “otherworldly” vocals (Los Angeles Times). The duo have recorded and performed with many artists including Joni Mitchell\, Mumford and Sons\, The National\, Harry Styles\, Ringo Starr\, Ozzy Osborne\, Sheryl Crow\, and Brandi Carlile including appearances on the Grammy stage and NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.” Lucius are Laessig\, Wolfe\, and Peter Lalish. \n\n\n \nDoors at 7 PM\, Show starts at 8 PM \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n Upcoming Events\n \n \n\n\n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A Night of Comedy Celebrating the Legacy You’ve Built\n This evening is just for you\, our Circle of Giving donors and Harry Greenstein Legacy Society members.
