SUMMARY:The Cure For Hate
DESCRIPTION:The Cure For Hate\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nJoin the Baltimore Jewish Council for a screening of the 55-minute film The Cure For Hate\, followed by a conversation with Tony McAleer and the film’s director\, Peter Hutchison. \n\n\n \nTony McAleer has spent over a decade helping others to understand the dynamics of hate. He should know: in the 1980s\, he was deeply involved in the neo-Nazi White Aryan Resistance\, anti-immigrant activism\, Holocaust denial and street violence. In the 1990s\, he attracted increasing notoriety through a series of publicity stunts and by running a white supremacist phone line. \n\n\n \nHis pathway back was a long\, lonely and difficult one – an experience that led to him and a small group of other formers to create the organization Life After Hate in order to help others exit hate groups with more support and greater success. \n\n\n \nThis powerful film follows former Tony McAleer on his journey of t’shuvah and atonement at Auschwitz/Birkenau. It serves as a compelling and timely tool for educating audiences on the dangers of unchecked hate\, the roots of extremist ideology\, and how compassion can replace fear — lessons that feel especially urgent today. \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n Upcoming Events\n \n \n\n\n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A Night of Comedy Celebrating the Legacy You’ve Built\n This evening is just for you\, our Circle of Giving donors and Harry Greenstein Legacy Society members. SUMMARY:The Ethics of Multidisciplinary Collaboration in Outpatient Mental Health
DESCRIPTION:The Ethics of Multidisciplinary Collaboration in Outpatient Mental Health\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nThis training explores the ethical complexities that arise during multidisciplinary staffing’s in outpatient mental health settings. While CARF standards and the NASW Code of Ethics emphasize collaboration across disciplines\, clinicians often encounter ethical tensions related to confidentiality\, professional boundaries\, and differing treatment philosophies. Participants will examine how theoretical orientation informs clinical decision-making in multidisciplinary contexts and apply ethical reasoning to real-world scenarios involving medication management\, financial stressors\, and disability-related concerns. Through reflection\, discussion\, and applied case analysis\, clinicians will strengthen their capacity to navigate collaborative care ethically and effectively. Offers 1.5 Category 1 CEUs. \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n Upcoming Events\n \n \n\n\n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A Night of Comedy Celebrating the Legacy You’ve Built\n This evening is just for you\, our Circle of Giving donors and Harry Greenstein Legacy Society members.
