The BZD and the Jewish Community of Padua are pleased to invite you on a virtual tour of their town, which has a very ancient Jewish history. We will begin by seeing where Padua is situated to understand some aspects of its development over the past centuries.
We will examine the history, see today’s Synagogue still in use, and learn about the former Ashkenazi synagogue burnt down by the Italian fascists in 1943 and, today, a Museum.
