Beth Tfiloh invites parents and teens to watch this important new documentary that explores anxiety, its causes and effects, and what we can do about it. 


PROGRAM:• Opening remarks: Dr. Zipora Schorr, Director of Education, Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School• Film screening of “Angst”• Q&A with panel of experts on adolescent mental health and wellness facilitated by Beth Tfiloh High School counselor Mrs. Rochelle Sullivan


Angst: Anxiety isn’t cool but talking about it is producers Scilla Andreen and Karin Gornick have one goal: to start a global conversation and raise awareness around anxiety. Through candid interviews, they use the power of film to tell the stories of many kids and teens who discuss their anxiety and its impacts on their lives and relationships, as well as how they’ve found solutions and hope.

Beth Tfiloh invites parents of Middle School students to a special screening of “Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age” in the High School theater, followed by a Q&A session facilitated by Middle School Counselor Mrs. Nikki Elgamil.


SCREENAGERS is the first feature documentary to explore the impact of screen technology on kids and offer parents and families proven solutions that work.

SCREENAGERS goes far beyond exposing the risks of screen time, it reveals multiple approaches on how parents and educators can work with kids to help them achieve a healthy amount of screen time.
