Frederick Douglass said, “Once you learn to read, you will be forever free.”

Start the new year out right by making literacy a priority with Repair The World Baltimore through volunteering at The Maryland Book Bank! The MD Book Bank collects and distributes hundreds of thousands of books each year to promote reading in local schools; help us sort donations to be enjoyed by the students of Baltimore city for years to come.

Then join us after volunteering for a lunch and learn at Union Craft Brewing! Grab noshes at Well Crafted Kitchen and a brew from the bar and hang with new friends to learn about literacy in Baltimore City.

Learn more on our Facebook event page.
*The MD Book Bank has a set of stairs at the entrance; please contact any of the organizers to request accommodations. *All are welcome, no matter your identity, ability, or faith background.
