Brenda Brown Rever
From empowering and educating young girls to preserving the oral histories of women over 75, Brenda Brown Rever has helped shape women’s stories and been shaped by them in return. Rever served as a trustee of the UMD from 1994–2007, a vice chair of their $450 million capital campaign, and recently becoming trustee emerita. A trustee of the House of Ruth, she also founded CHANA (the Counseling, Helpline, and Network for Abused Women). She was a founding board member of the Jewish Women’s Archive and National Chair of the women’s division for Council of Jewish Federations. She also founded the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women. Rever has been inducted into the Jewish Hall of Fame and received the Hannah G. Solomon Award from the National Council of Jewish Women, the Golda Meir Award, and named one of the top 100 Women in Baltimore.
Beth Blauer, JD
Beth is the Associate Vice Provost for Public Sector Innovation at Johns Hopkins University. She is the former the Executive Director and co-founder of the Centers for Civic Impact at Johns Hopkins University (Civic Impact). She has successfully worked with over 140 mayors from around the globe to advance the use of data and evidence. As a dedicated public servant and international expert on government performance programs for more than fifteen years, Beth Blauer spent her career working to improve people’s lives by bringing data into governments’ decision-making processes. Prior to leading the Centers for Civic Impact, Blauer designed and launched Socrata’s GovStat platform for federal, state, and local governments. She is a recipient of the 2012 CAP award for her work on Maryland’s StateStat.

Robin is Founder and President of Taverngreen Associates, a healthcare strategic planning and international brand marketing company. Clients include global Fortune 100 and 500 pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostic, medical device, medical insurance, and venture capital/private equity companies. Robin has 27 years of healthcare product development, healthcare policy writing, government lobbying, and global market research experience. Prior to opening her own company, Ms. Belsky was a Vice President at Market Measures Interactive, a United Business Media (UBM) company. Earlier in her career, Robin was a Capitol Hill Lobbyist with Miller, Cassidy, Larroca & Lewin, one of Washington, DC’s most prestigious law firms.
