An Evening of Education, Conversation, and Support

Join mental health professionals and educators from Beth Tfiloh Congregation and School, Jewish Community Services, and Sol Levinson and Bros, Inc. to talk about grief throughout the life cycle.

Opening remarks by Dr. Zipora Schorr, Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School’s Director of Education
“The Loss of Innocence – maintaining resilience in the face of today’s intense societal pressures”

Choose from four breakout sessions:

  • Talking to your preschool or elementary age child about loss
  • Talking to your middle or high school age child about loss
  • Managing adult life losses (divorce, health, employment, relocation, death of sibling, friend, parent or spouse)
  • Being a friend to someone who is grieving
