Center for Leadership Lay and Professional Partnership Series Part 2
Center for Leadership Lay and Professional Partnership Series Part 2
A three-part series for professionals and lay leaders to attend as partners (or small groups).
Join facilitator Ellen Kagen Waghelstein as we focus on renewing effective partnerships that support rich and meaningful dynamics to promote successful organizational culture and communal strength.
Lay leaders and professionals are partners in the work of creating community. Our relationships impact our organizations – we talk about passions, values and concerns for community and establish priorities and design strategies to engage our boards and others. We struggle together and get excited about new endeavors. And, at our best, we openly acknowledge the tension and differing opinions necessary for community change.
For this partnership to succeed, we must commit to a shared vision built on trust and mutually agreed upon expectations. The success of this partnership is vital to our organizations’ vision and to the overall strength of our community.
