This training will enhance participants’ ability to:
• Develop strategies to support their adult client/child towards independence
• Develop and enhance their skills in assisting their client/child in making decisions independently and
advocating for oneself (right to self-determination)
• Assist their client/child with developing insight in promoting independence while maintaining healthy
Social workers and other clinicians attending this program will receive 1.0 Category I CEU
