Baltimore-based artist Anna Fine Foer constructs collage landscapes with scientific, political, meta-physical, and Jewish significance, depicting three or more dimensions on a two-dimensional plane.
With an academic background in fiber/crafts, she has worked as a textile conservator in Haifa, Tel Aviv, and Washington, DC. Her work has been exhibited in the US and in Israel, including at the Maryland Governor’s Mansion as well as the Israeli Embassy. Anna’s artwork is in the permanent collection of the Haifa Museum of Art and the Beer-Sheva Biblical Museum.
Congregation Beit Tikvah will host a virtual tour of Anna’s studio and a discussion with the artist.
