Nonreligious people are a steadily growing population in the United States and can experience high levels of minority stress in more prevalently religious communities. Providing competent inclusive services requires greater understanding of the impact religious bias has on this population and adoption of a clinical approach attuned to their experiences. This session will enhance cultural competence of social workers and other healthcare professionals in attending to nonreligious clients.
