Repair Volunteering at BUGS Farmers Market

Sat, 27 Apr, 2019 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Every spring, the students in the Baltimore Urban Gardening with Students (BUGS) program at Living Classrooms host a 100% kid-run farmers’ market where they learn the real-world application of their entrepreneurial knowledge, gain valuable customer service skills, and showcase their work from the year.

This year, Repair the World will be helping out at the farmers market! Volunteers will assist BUGS students with set-up, running their stands, face painting, popcorn popping, and more! Click here to register.

*Repair the World Baltimore programs are geared towards volunteers in their 20s and 30s.

Baltimore Urban Gardening with Students (BUGS) is a multidisciplinary after-school program that serves 2nd-5th grade students from Commodore John Rodgers Elementary/Middle School with meaningful hands-on academic enrichment activities that complement the school day.
